In Sistan and Baluchistan province, Iranshahr, Zabol, Chahbahar, and Saravan cities are the most important areas in the production of this type of dates in Iran.

The souring and premature falling of dates has led to a decline in overall yield, and the amount of date harvest has decreased by about 40% compared to last year’s crop [1].
