Palm Tree in Christianity:
In Christianity, the leaves of the palm tree are used in “Palm Sunday”; Sunday Palm is a holiday celebrated by Christians and Jews and is rooted in the blessing and strategic placement of the palm branch, while in ancient Greece the tree was the symbol of Apollo and was born under the palm tree on the island of Delos.
The palm tree and its fruit are also mentioned in the birth of Jesus Christ and it is described that during the birth of the Prophet Mary leans on the palm tree and hears a voice instructing her to shake the tree so that she can cut the fruit to reduce labor pain (this story is mentioned in the Qur’an).
